The day may not have started out the way she had hoped, but it ended beautifully! I believe it is the times that are not quite so perfect that really make the best memories. All the kids were so GOOD-LOOKING and put on an awesome performance for the camera. Nana , being the coolest Grandmother ever as Graham put it, rewarded them with cupcakes and hot chocolate. I can't wait to see the final result and I'm glad I'm not the one who has to choose which one goes up on the wall. Here are a few of my shots!
GO, go, go.......is what I've been doing! Between softball games, football games, parent involvement week, family night out and field trips--- there just hasn't been much time to spend on blogging!! Softball has been a lot of fun this year, the girls have learned so much and I have really enjoyed following the team every where! Tonight the varsity ladies advanced to the second round of playoffs by defeating Purvis!! Way to go Lady Dawgs!! Looks like we will have a road trip to somewhere Saturday. Photo is of Taylor Stewart with a hard hit ball to the outfield!! Emily has just a couple of JV football games left to cheer at and then she will be moving on to basketball and soccer. She has done a great job her first year as a cheerleader! The elementary's family night out was fun, they had a huge TV screen and played the movie Nim's Island. It was good and the kids enjoyed eating hot dogs and popcorn! Annual Fourth grade field trip to the Indian village in Natchez was interesting(been there done that three times now). Kids always love a day out of class!! They learned about the Indians and their way of life. So, as you can see life has been busy and I wouldn't change it for nothing. We have even been able to fit in a little bit of fishing! That has become one of our newest obessions. I'm so blessed and so thank-full!!!
